Today was Meet Eloi and Catch the InK Exhibit Day, and the day went well. (yep, we got to the right exhibit this time ;p)

Sadly, there wasn't any work done by Pepper Roxas or Paolo Lim or Lyra Abueg Garcellano or Jason Moss, but there were still works there that were very much worth the visit. Bernie Sim's Chinatown collage was an instant favorite. Her work, made of labels and maps and doodled with little charaters and meteor garden faces, was so pop and hip and nice. Conrad Raquel's Halabira was great too, very original and fun to look at. The thing I liked most about it was the flame eating guy with the word "fire" inside his mouth. Abi Goy's work was lovely and funny, which featured kids in a playground. (yes, i took pics, but i don't know if it's right to post them here without their permission.)

One little complain: the place was so hot. We were perspiring and wiping our foreheads the whole time we were there. The venue was not air conditioned - that's ok, we can live with that - but it wasn't even well-ventilated.

Anyways, still hoping I'd catch it again next year. :)
